Arjun is one of our first cohort of Young Players, now in his 4th year with WSO. What a range of musical talents, but also his Mum provides delicious samosas for our concert intervals…… Come and hear him and try them!
‘As well as playing in Wolverhampton Symphony Orchestra I am principal cellist of the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra and I’m doing my Grade 8 cello and I got a high distinction in my Grade 8 piano. I’m in the Sixth Form at school and play in the majority of my school bands, recently including the folk group on the accordion and brass ensemble on the tuba and have played trumpet and conducted one of the school bands. I’m going to lead my house’s jazz band in the house music competition. I conduct the Wolverhampton civic choir, and we’re going to have a carol service accompanied and conducted by me on the 17th December. We will also sing carols at the care home where I play piano most Sundays at lunchtime for the ladies and gentlemen.’
